The mission of AbsolutCare Pharmacy is to provide clinically superior home care services to its patients, thereby improving their quality of life. We strive to provide these services in an innovative, yet cost-efficient manner. We rigorously strive to meet the high standards of ethical behavior. Our long-term commitment to these principles has proven effective and has provided the foundation for AbsolutCare Pharmacy to become a leader in home care in the San Antonio and South Texas area. The goal or vision of AbsolutCare Pharmacy (ACP) is to remain a leader in the field of home infusion therapy providers by continuing to offer the highest quality care in an outpatient setting in the most cost effective manner.
Our Story
Edmund Lee, Registered Pharmacist, chose home care pharmacy in the mid 1980's, seeing an opportunity to care for those people needing home intravenous and other therapies while in their home. He developed a strong connection with his patients and considered providing their treatments as "...caring for my patients like family."
Since then, he started and developed two successful home care pharmacy companies. Unwilling to retire, Mr. Lee started AbsolutCare Pharmacy to continue providing quality and individualized care to those in his service.
You will see your pharmacist from time to time delivering your medications as Mr. Lee enjoys face-to-face interactions with those who receive his services. His attitude of caring for his patients as family permeates all of AbsolutCare, assuring you receive accurate, caring treatment.
Our Facility
What sets our facility apart?
Inside our pharmacy is a certified Clean Room where we prepare those compounds requiring a more highly regulated sterile preparation area. This is for the safety of the patient, to avoid any contaminants and to allow for ultimate control of what goes into the finished product.
This special equipment allows our pharmacy to serve an even wider range of patients that are often immunocompromised. We call it "peace of mind" for our patients.

Edmund Lee, R. PH.
As President/CEO and Lead Pharmacist, Ed oversees our entire facility. He has 30 years experience in the home care pharmacy business, with extensive knowledge in all home medications including Total Parenteral Nutrition, hemophilia care, and pediatric care.
Ed is Certified in Sterile Admixture Services by the University of Texas at Austin.
Jeff Salantai
With over 15 years in the medical industry and a certified EMT, Jeff is a hemophilia specialist and a patient himself.
He is Co-Owner and serves as the VP of Operations and Director of Sales.
Community involvement in National Hemophilia Foundation, Lone Star Chapter, co-member of American Cancer Society Annual Halloween Festival for cancer children.
